When considering a graduate degree in Business Analytics, what’s your non-negotiable? Is it a world-renowned faculty, an exceptional alumni community, a hands-on approach to learning, or a vibrant student culture? At MIT Sloan, you don’t have to choose.
The Master of Business Analytics (MBAn) program at MIT Sloan has been ranked #1 in the world since its inception in 2016. As an MBAn student, you’ll benefit from being at the intersection of business savvy and technical expertise. Each year, our MBAn students push the limits of innovation through the Analytics Capstone Project, a key highlight of this specialized master's program. This seven-month project is at the core of the MBAn program, providing students with invaluable real-world experience in solving data challenges from organizations worldwide, all under the guidance of our expert faculty.
We invite you to view the projects and posters from the 2024 Analytics Capstone Showcase. Additionally, we encourage you to participate in our upcoming in-person or virtual events to learn more about MIT Sloan and its offerings.
This year’s application deadline is approaching: the MBAn deadline is January 3, 2025. We look forward to getting to know you better during this application cycle.

Hispanic Heritage Month Spotlight
Meet Sebastián González, MBA '25.
Why did you choose MIT Sloan?
I chose MIT Sloan because it’s exciting to be at a school that is pioneering technology in AI and Climate/Sustainability. It has been amazing to leave Sloan and learn more about the research being done in the MIT ecosystem. Additionally, MIT’s culture preaches collaboration and inclusivity, two things I value highly.
Why did you get involved in the Hispanic Business Club (HBC)?
I got involved in the club because I wanted to contribute to making Hispanic students feel at home at Sloan. HBC was instrumental in making me feel at home!
What lasting impact do you hope your club has on the Sloan community?
I hope this club can accomplish a sense of belonging for all club members and showcase how beautiful and enriching Hispanic culture and people are! I want others to learn about Hispanic culture within the US while I’m here.
What are you hoping to accomplish after MIT Sloan? What are your career goals?
I want to continue making an impact in the EdTech space as either an investor or operator of EdTech companies.
Share a secret talent with us.
In college, I ran my own half-acre garden! We grew sweet potatoes, tomatoes, peas, lemons, and even peanuts.
